rovecode is free software with a small team behind it. The people who use it learn about it from other people who use it. You would be the one who makes that easier: writing, recording, answering, and carrying what you hear back to the engineers.
What you would do
- Write the posts that explain a release's reasons, and the guides that get a team from clone to first approved change.
- Run the issue tracker as a conversation: triage, reproduce, answer, and turn the patterns into product notes.
- Record the real frames — the screenshots and transcripts on this site are made by the same code path the TUI paints with, and you would keep them true.
- Speak at the meetups and conferences where terminal tools are discussed, in the languages you have.
What we are looking for
- You have shipped software and you can still write a paragraph a stranger enjoys reading.
- You have run a community before — an open-source project, a forum, a user group — and can say what you would do differently.
- You are at home in a terminal and unbothered by an agent that asks permission.
Process
A short note and links to your writing, a conversation, a written exercise on a topic you choose from our backlog, a final conversation.
