rovecode has a pricing page now, which for a project whose closing line used to be "zero pricing page" deserves a paragraph.
What did not change
The agent is free software under AGPL-3.0. Clone it, run it, modify it, redistribute it, run a modified copy as a service — the licence's one condition is that you offer that copy's source to its users. Nothing on the pricing page narrows this, and nothing in the agent checks for an account.
What the plans pay for
The hosted service around the agent: an account, so your policy and knowledge follow you between machines; shared credits, so a team pays once; roles, so the person who sets the deny rules is not the person who can loosen them; and support with a response time, for the teams that need one in a contract.
Free is for trying it. Pro and Max are for one engineer, with quotas that differ in size. Teams is for a group that shares credits, with a full seat per engineer who works in it daily and free flex seats for everyone else. Enterprise is Teams with your identity provider, your logs, your cloud and a contract.
The account page
Sign in with GitHub or with an email and a password. The account page holds your profile, your password and the session you are in; it also holds the one button that deletes everything, behind a checkbox. There is nothing on it you cannot leave.
What we will not do
We will not gate a CLI feature behind a plan. If a capability lands in the agent, it lands in the free software. The plans are the service, the service is optional, and the security page says what we hold when you use it.
